Driving the Next Generation of Skilled Trade Professionals
This month, North American Trade Schools (NATS), a leading provider of skilled trades education for residents of Baltimore and surrounding areas, hosted a grand opening celebration for its new campus at 5760 Wabash Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21215.
The event included a ribbon-cutting, followed by campus tours and networking opportunities. Local and state leaders, community organizations, and industry partners gathered to recognize the expansion of hands-on training programs that help fuel Maryland’s workforce.
The new campus is equipped with expanded labs and modern tools to support programs in welding, HVAC, diesel technology, building construction, electrical technology, and commercial truck driving—each designed to prepare students for in-demand careers across the region.
This new facility is more than a building—it’s an investment in the people and future of Baltimore, said Matt Daly, Campus President. Through strong partnerships and modern training, we’re helping students build real career pathways in high-demand fields.
More than 50 representatives from organizations that support and advance workforce training are expected to attend, including:
- Mid-Atlantic Association of Career Schools
- Career Education Colleges and Universities (CECU)
- Mayor’s Office of Small, Minority Business Advocacy and Development
- Baltimore County Department of Economic and Workforce Development
- Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC)
- Baltimore City Council and Baltimore County Government
- Over 20 local and regional employers committed to hiring skilled graduates
These partnerships help ensure that NATS graduates not only gain technical skills but also benefit from direct connections to resources that support long-term career success.
