North American Trade Schools (NATS) provides consumer information to current and prospective students, employees, and other members of the public as required by applicable federal and state law and accreditation requirements. The information and publications below provide access to institutional policies, student rights and responsibilities, financial aid and cost information, campus safety information, student outcomes, and other required disclosures.

Student Handbook
The North American Trade Schools Student Handbook provides information regarding student rights and responsibilities, nondiscrimination and access, FERPA/student privacy, drug and alcohol abuse prevention, campus safety, student conduct, student services, complaints and grievances, consumer information, and other policies applicable to enrolled students.
Catalog and Addenda
The NATS School Catalog contains detailed information regarding academic programs, tuition and fees, financial aid, refund and cancellation policies, satisfactory academic progress, attendance, graduation requirements, accreditation and approvals, student services, and other academic and institutional requirements. Books and Supplies
Books, kits, and supplies are available through NATS and can be rolled into the financial plan each student creates during the admissions process. However, for those students and families who would like to know which books, kits, and supplies are needed for their program of study, a complete, detailed list, including ISBN number.

Annual Security Report and Campus Safety
North American Trade Schools publishes an Annual Security Report (ASR) containing campus crime statistics and information regarding campus safety and security policies, crime reporting, emergency response and evacuation, prevention programs, and other information required by the Clery Act. The ASR is distributed annually to current students and employees. Prospective students and prospective employees may obtain the report electronically below or request a paper copy from NATS.
FERPA and Student Privacy
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of student education records. Information regarding student FERPA rights, access to education records, amendment of records, consent and permitted disclosures, directory information, directory-information opt-out procedures, and complaint rights is provided in the NATS Student Handbook.

Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention
NATS maintains a Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program (DAAPP). Information regarding standards of conduct, legal and disciplinary sanctions, health risks, available counseling/treatment resources, and the institution’s prevention program is provided to students and employees as required.

Title IX / Sex Discrimination
